Applications for Alien Labor Certifications are intially processed by the State Employment Security Agency (SESA) in the state where the job is located. After the state agency performs the initial processing, the application is forwarded to the appropriate Regional Office of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The following are the current DOL processing times for both Reduction-In-Recruitment (RIR) and Non-RIR Labor Certifications.
