Our law firm has been helping both corporations and individuals meet their immigration
needs since 1979. Due to rapidly growing demand for our services, we have increased
the number of our employees by over 100% during the past five years, and we are still
hiring. Over a year ago, we moved into newer, larger office space.
If you are interested in immigration law, here is what The Law Offices of Carl
Shusterman has to offer you:
- A Generous Benefits Package: If we select you, you will receive
a highly competitive salary, regular raises and bonuses based upon your performance,
health insurance and parking, participation in our retirement plan (We currently
contribute an amount equivalent to 3% of your salary to your 401(k) plan annually),
vacation and sick pay and ten paid holidays per year.
- Opportunities For Growth: We are not a mill. We don't believe in legal
assembly line workers! Each of our Legal Assistants handles a wide variety of different
types of cases. Like most business law firms, we prepare a large amount of H-1B's, E's and
L's and labor certifications for corporations and individuals. In addition, we obtain O-1
visas for persons ranging from entertainers to cancer researchers to champion skateboarders!
We assist physicians working in medically underserved areas in obtaining both J-1 and National
Interest Waivers. Also, we assist hospitals in obtaining permanent residence for registered
nurses and H-1B visas and green cards for allied health care workers. We represent
employers in sanctions cases, obtain permanent residence for clients through family-based
categories, and specialize in highly-complex derivative citizenship cases. In addition,
we have half a dozen cases pending in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, some raising
important constitutional issues. We believe in promoting employees from within:
One of our senior attorneys began working with us as a Legal Assistant.
- A Congenial Working Environment: No one is an expert in all phases of immigration
law and procedure. At the Law Offices of Carl Shusterman, there are plenty of Attorneys and
Legal Assistants ready to help you whenever you have a question. You keep our clients happy,
and we promise to keep you happy! We are the ultimate Equal Opportunity Employer: We are
like a tiny version of the United Nations! Our employees include immigrants from a dozen
different countries who speak over 15 languages. Read the
biographies of our attorneys online.
